Once the material has been shaped by the casting process, the decisive step of forming follows. First, the stainless steel coils are subjected to a hot rolling process in which the material is heated to high temperatures. This enables uniform forming and precise adjustment to the desired dimensions. The hot rolling process is particularly important in order to achieve the basic shape of the coil and the desired thickness. The material is rolled to its final shape, which plays a decisive role in the subsequent processing steps.

This is followed by cold rolling, in which the stainless steel sheets are further processed at room temperature. This has the advantage of achieving an exact surface structure and dimensional accuracy. Cold-rolled stainless steel coils are characterized by higher strength and surface quality and offer better precision during further processing.

• Hot rolling:
  Heating the material to high temperatures (usually over 1000°C) and then rolling it to obtain a rough shape and thickness.
  
  
• Cold rolling:
  The process takes place at room temperature and ensures a more precise thickness, improved surface finish and higher mechanical properties.

The combination of these two processes ensures that the coils have the required mechanical and structural properties and are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
